World no.1 Roger Federer and the 3rd seed Novak Djokovic meet in the finals of the US Open championships after winning their respective semifinal matches in straight sets. Federer beat the 4th seeded Russian Nicolay Davydenko 7-5,6-1,7-5 to book his place in the finals. In the other match Djokovic defeated the Spaniard David Ferrer 6-4,6-4,6-3. The finals is expected to be a thrilling encounter. It wont be that easy for Federer as Djokovic is the one who defeated him in their last meeting.
