Arsenal’s Premiership rivals Manchester United too were in impressive form crushing Dynamo Kiev by four goals to 2 in an away match. Rio Ferdinand opened the scoring for United with a header. Wayne Rooney tapped in a low cross to make it 2 nil before Kiev could respond with a Diogo Rincon goal. The result though was never in doubt after Cristiano Ronaldo struck back with two more goals for United. The English club lead Group F. Roma are second after a 2-1 win over Dinamo Kiev.
