In Group C, Fiorentina were held to a one all draw by Spain’s Villarreal. Christain Vieri opened the scoring for the Italians before Villarreal’s Capdevila grabbed a late goal to steal a point. In group B, Peter Odemwingie and Sergio Aguero both scored twice as Lokomotiv Moscow and Atletico Madrid drew 3 all in Moscow. Aguero’s brilliant finish with 5 minutes left earned Atletico a point in the away game.
