Manchester United registered yet another 1-0 win, but this time against the Italian team Roma in the UEFA Champions League match today. Both teams were equally poised and displayed their attacking football. But Manchester United's veteran striker Wayne Rooney broke the deadlock to give them the lead in the 70th minute. The goal was assisted by a great pass by Nani. Roma on the other hand squandered a number of chances that came their way. They could well have received a penalty when Mancini was tripped down by Michael Carrick in side the box. But they were too unfortunate to not have got a penalty. Manchester United held their nerves until their final minute and emerged winner. This is their second win in the champions league.
